Former RPO declared Mumtaz Qadri high risk

LAHORE: Former police chief of Rawalpindi had declared Mumtaz Qadri and other four policemen high risk for the VIP duty, sources said.

Former RPO Rawalpindi Nasir Khan Durrani in an official memo warned that Malik Mumtaz Qadri and other four security men should not be posted in VIP security detail, sources said.

The official had written the note in view of the past record of the five security men, sources said, but no attention was given on the warning while posting the man in security detail of Punjab governor Salman Taseer.
